Zubby Michael Biography and Net Worth

Azubuike Michael Egwu, is his real name but fondly and widely known as Zubby Michael, A.K.A Ezendiala, Modern Oracle, Abulo, Ezekudene, etc. He is a renowned Nollywood actor, model, television personality, an entrepreneur and a rare philanthropist.
Zubby was born on the 1st of February, 1985 in Yola, Adamawa State in the Northern part of Nigeria, but hails from Ozubulu in Okwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State of Nigeria. He actually had his upbringing in Adamawa State.


Educational Background
Zubby had his primary and secondary education in Yola, Adamawa State, in the northern Nigeria where he obtained both his first and secondary certificates respectively. He went further to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State Nigeria.

 

His Acting Career
He started acting at a very tender age of 8 years during his primary school days when he used to act drama series.
The year 2006 was the actual year he kick-started his acting career by joining Nollywood. His first movie “The Three Widows” featured alongside veteran actress Oge Okoye. The unusual talents and creativity displayed by this young man received admiration and commendation from both movie directors and fans and he was subsequently encouraged to build on it.
That same year 2006, he rose to movie popularity after featuring in Nollywood blockbuster movie “The Generals” and “Royal Storm”. This he successfully made in company of other Nollywood stars in the likes of Sylvester Madu, Jim Iyke, Junior Pope, Odonnwodo and Uche Jumbo.
What can we say about Zubby? A fine, talented young man who is reputed for playing criminal and hard man roles in most Nollywood movies. He is gifted and creative at interpreting his roles and can fit into any character assigned him by any movie director.
He is famous in acting roles considered as criminals in movies, and most cases features alongside veteran Nollywood actors like Jim Iyke, Jerry Amilo, Junior Pope Odonwodo, Sylvester Madu, Gentle Zack and many others.
His popularity grew to an enviable height in movie industry in Nigeria after starring in the Nollywood blockbuster movies, Princess Rihanna and Implication. These movies earned him fame and nomination for Best Actor in a supporting role in the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.
Zubby is a prolific actor, with over 200 Nollywood movies to his credit including the under mentioned few: The Empire, Blood of a Dragon, The Generals, Royal Storms, Stolen Love, The Cat and many others.
